Anhumas Abyss is located in Bonito, Mato Grosso do Sul, Brazil. The cave is accessed by a gap in surface rocks. The floor is reached via a 72 meter vertical rappel which puts a person at the surface of the lake that is contained in the cave. The lake reaches depths of 80 meters. When sunlight spills through the gap it illuminates the interior of the cave (as well as the clear lake) and reflects green and blue from the magnesium and limestone in the rocks.
